This is a Yamaha YTR-2335S newest model student silver-plated trumpet!  It came to us serviced but we re-serviced it and it is now ready for band, ready to play.  This is a very good to excellent condition silver-plated trumpet.  The silver-plated finish is in great condition.  There are a couple of very small scratches on it which are very hard to see and overall, the trumpet looks GREAT.  The valves look good and compression is excellent.  Slides all move very well. 

New YTR-2335S Yamaha trumpets (the newest model Yamaha student trumpets) sell for around $1100 or more at Giardinelli and other stores.  To rent one like this for a school year can cost as much as the Buy It Now price.  Buy this one at a reasonable price, get something for your money and sell it if your student decides to "pursue other interests".  These models retain their value very well, especially the silver ones.

The servicing includes: complete disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning of all parts, replacement of valve pads and slide corks as needed, re-assembly and alignment of slides, shining and playing - a complete service.

The trumpet plays great!  We play test every instrument we sell to ensure it will meet school band instructors standards.   We're also including a choice of a deluxe Yamaha case which has room to store many accessories and music books in good serviceable condition OR a new Protec-type case -- please see pictures below for options.  The Yamaha case has a few tears which have either been glued or taped down.
