This is a Getzen 700 Special silver-plated model Step-up trumpet!  It has just been serviced
and is ready for band, ready to play.

The silver finish is in great condition.  Any dents have been removed but there remain a few very minor dings which do not affect playability and are very difficult to see unless pointed out.  Valves look very good and slides all move as they should.  Getzens are known for great valves that work better and last longer than most other makers' valves.  In fact, they have a lifetime guarantee. 

These are quality-built instruments made here in the USA in Wisconsin.  The quality can be seen in that the inner tubing is nickel silver rather than regular brass to resist wear and corrosion.  You don't find this in lesser quality instruments, newer Bachs or even Yamaha trumpets.  If you'd like to read about these models still made by Getzen, click here -->  Getzen 700 Special

The servicing includes: complete disassembly, cleaning of all parts, ding/dent removal as necessary and possible, re-assembly and alignment of slides, polishing with Hagerty Silver Polish and play testing.

The trumpet plays great!  This trumpet would work well for advanced players, beginners, come-back players and pros looking for a good backup horn.  The lightweight composition lends for a nice bright tone.  We play test every instrument we sell to ensure it will meet school band instructors standards.   This one is being offered at a bargain price -- less than you will find most used Yamaha silver trumpets.  Renting one like this would cost more in a year than the Buy It Now price.
