1969 Olds Super
Trumpet - Fullerton Model
This is a great vintage Olds Super Trumpet built in 1969 in the Fullerton plant in California. The previous owner had their tech service this trumpet and the cleaning solution turned the brass a yellowish color which is very unique. It is extremely clean, handles well and sounds great with a big, bold sound. We playtested it with a few other Olds Supers and this one projected very well and was a little brighter than some of the others. The valves look great, have great compression and work very well. Other than this servicing, there doesn't appear to have been any previous repairs on the horn. The lacquer has been for the most part removed and the horn is now mostly in raw yellowish-colored brass, almost looks like gold! There doesn't appear to be any dents at all but you may find a minute ding on it. A good polishing would make this horn really shine. There was no case that came with this one but a vintage case could be included if desired. No mouthpiece is included. Please see additional photos below.
