Yamaha YEP-321 Intermediate Euphonium

This is a Yamaha YEP-321 intermediate 4-valve euphonium.  These have been built by Yamaha since 1969 and are used by many advanced high school and college students as well as professional players because they are made well, sound good and hold up.  Yamaha still sells this model and the list price on these is over $3500 new in lacquer with a street price around $2500.

All the larger dents that were found on the horn were removed and only a few smaller ones remain, none of which affect the playability of the horn.  This one is in good shape overall.

This euphonium was serviced during the past school year and used for a short period by our son.  The valves work well, the slides are all free and it plays well.  Included are the Yamaha case, a Bach mouthpiece, a microfiber cleaning cloth, valve oil and slide grease.
